You are in charge of planning your company’s holiday party and are trying to find some suitable adult Christmas party games. For our purposes we will detail Christmas games for adults, rather then adult games that some may find offensive.
The Box Game is a lot of fun. Have several boxes each wrapped with multiple layers of paper (only the outer layer needs to have gift wrap). Each player tries to unwrap the package while wearing mittens or oven mitts, a hat and scarf. The first person to unwrap a gift is the winner.
Dressing Santa will have everyone laughing. Teams must dress a member in a Santa outfit using only red paper, tape and cotton. The first team to finish wins. Later have a Santa fashion show and be sure to get pictures.
Don’t spend a lot of money on decorations and shop around for cheap supplies like dinnerware, flatware, etc. Save your money for gifts and refreshments.
Invite your guests to let their hair down and act like kids by playing some traditional children’s games such as musical chairs, using Jingle Bells or Rudolph for your music. This could be hilarious if players have already sampled the Christmas cheer.
Charades is another great game for adults. Put the names of Christmas movies, poems or songs in a hat. Each team has a member draw a slip and act out the title. The first team to get the answer wins.
Dirty Rotten Shame - players sit in a circle. The first person picks a gift from a bag and holds it in plain sight. The next player either picks a new gift or steals the first one by saying "It’s a dirty rotten shame but I want that_______ (name of item)."
The first person then picks a new gift, the next player can steal either of the two gifts and so on. Enjoy playing these adult Christmas party games.
