I always love theme parties. For my son Jack's 7th birthday we thought of celebrating a pirate theme party.
We began with pirate invitations composed with the help of the computer on a scroll that announced a buzzing invitation message.
The pirate invitation was accepted warmly and all the guests got excited.
It was hard to find cheap pirate supplies on the local store. So we tried our best to make most of them at home. We generated a pirate ship with the help of tables putting on their sides. We enclosed them with cardboard.
Around the exterior bottom of the ship we put some blue streamers to look like water; we also left three openings on the ship where the children loaded on and off the pirate ship and yes a flat timber that was an old gate on top of large paint buckets.
When the kids arrived they all were given a pirate bandana along with an eye patch. Jack's uncle was wearing full pirate gear and entertained the guests by telling them sea stories, and particularly to kids.
The meals on the party included mostly cheap food supplies, i.e. chicken fingers along with cold pizza squares. The candy that was served on the table was all golden and silvery. Pirate parties are incomplete without treasure games.
For treasure games, we had a treasure hunt at the outset, and all the treasures set up had to do with the games then had fun with black balloons intended for cannonball pop, a pirate riches torso piņata full of ring pops and a pirate treasure chest crammed with the loot bags. At the end, we all moved towards the pirate ship to " Treasure Island " where the birthday baby opened his gifts.
Theme parties are a treasury memory for kids, especially. It was absolutely a birthday Jack can never forget; his friends still discuss the pirate party fun a year later!
