Some e cards are like traditional cards in that they are there when you click on the e-mail link an image will pop up with a verse that is your card. However unique interactive Christmas cards provide an alternative to that type of card. Usually interactive Christmas cards present the image and then you are prompted to click to open the card. Then say your image in an unadorned Christmas tree. Then click to string up the lights, again to add various decorations and lastly add a star to the top of the tree.
